northern-most surfing beach accompanied by a quiet coastal village.
Deepwater National Park, 2 hours 20 minutes south of Gladstone city is a great 4WD option as there is an
incredible stretch of coastline with dunes and forestry. Don’t miss an opportunity to visit Lake Awoonga, a popular
recreational area with picnic and barbeque facilities as well as walking trails. It’s only a half hour drive from
the city.
